Peter's wildly popular school assembly show Engineering Wonder teaches basic electronics concepts in a fun and interactive way using magic. There's more to learn from a magic show than science! Peter has a second completely different show for school assemblies called: Magician for Non-Believers. This live magic performance combines theater, storytelling, timing, visual arts, music and comedy in a unique way that sparks curiosity and inspires young people. They get to experience a live nontraditional art form broadening their understanding of what art is.
Arts enrichment programming is also about emotional engagement, and social emotional learning (SEL) which comes from being in social situations like a live performance. A magic show naturally reinforces SEL outcomes such as confidence (audience participation in the show), respectful audience behavior, perseverance (being a magician takes practice), empathy and kindness for the performer and volunteers on stage. A magic show is accessible for all learners and crosses barriers like language, culture, age, and ability which makes it an ideal school assembly enrichment experience for your students.
"We have had Peter perform at our school for the past two years and will gladly have him return! The positive responses and feedback from both students and staff has been consistent and he provides a wonderful, interactive show." Coleen Smith, Principal Hanaford Elementary School
